Following our Membership Survey in December, we listened carefully to your feedback on how we can improve the Warwickshire County Cricket Club website and overall digital experience.

We took your comments on board, went through a comprehensive tender process, and partnered with YinzCam, a leading digital platform developer, to deliver a new website experience designed around the needs of our Members and supporters.

Here's how your feedback has shaped the new platform:

A New Digital Hub for Every Team

You said: 73% of Members use the website primarily for Warwickshire CCC content.

We did: We've transformed the website homepage into a central hub for all of our teams and brands, making it easier than ever to access the content that matters most to you.

From the homepage, supporters can clearly navigate to dedicated sections for Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Warwickshire Bears, Birmingham Phoenix, International Updates and Events at Edgbaston. Each area now has its own identity and dedicated content offering, creating a much richer experience for both long-standing Members and new supporters.

Within each team section, you'll find everything in one place, including:

News and features
Videos and interviews
Player profiles
Fixtures and results
Tickets and hospitality information
Team history and key information

For new fans, these pages provide a clear introduction to each team and everything it has to offer. For Members, they deliver a more focused and comprehensive experience, with content tailored specifically to the teams they follow most closely.

Enhanced Match Centre

You said: 65% of Members use the website primarily for match updates and live coverage.

We did: We've introduced a brand-new Match Centre, offering a significantly enhanced live match experience.

Features include:

Ball-by-ball commentary with detailed descriptions
Wagon wheels and advanced match visuals
Live scorecards and tables
All match-related content in one place (previews, interviews, updates)

Several Members told us they often turned to social media for quicker updates. The new Match Centre has been designed to become the go-to destination for live coverage, ensuring supporters can stay informed directly through the website.

Easier Navigation Across the Website

You said: 60% of Members sometimes or often find the website difficult to navigate.

We did: We've completely redesigned the website structure to make finding content simpler and quicker.

We've reduced unnecessary layers of pages, streamlined content into clearer sections and organised information under dedicated navigation bars. This means fewer clicks and a much more intuitive user journey.

The new website also includes:

A simplified navigation structure
Clear dropdown menus containing relevant content sections
A dedicated team-switching menu on the left-hand side
A prominent route back to the homepage from every page
Improved search functionality to quickly find articles and content

A New Members Hub

You said: 65% of Members felt the website either didn't, or only sometimes, enhance their Membership experience.

We did: We're launching a dedicated Members Hub for the 2027 season, (coming later this year)

The new hub will provide:

Early access to news and announcements
Partner offers and discounts
Opportunities to ask the Club questions and provide feedback
A central destination for all Membership-related information

Designed specifically for Members, the hub will create a stronger connection between supporters and the Club while providing benefits beyond matchdays.

A Truly Personalised Experience

You said: Some Members were seeing content on their homepage that wasn't relevant to them.

We did: We're introducing a completely personalised content experience that will make every homepage unique to the individual supporter.

For the first time, the favourite teams and preferences you select will play a meaningful role in shaping the content you see.

Your homepage, featured stories, videos and recommendations will be tailored to your interests and behaviour, helping surface the content that matters most to you.

If you're a Warwickshire supporter, your experience could look completely different to a Bears fan. If you follow Birmingham Phoenix closely, you'll see more Phoenix content. If player profiles, match reports or interviews are what you engage with most, the platform will learn and adapt accordingly.

No two supporters will have exactly the same homepage experience. In fact, your homepage could look entirely different from those of your friends and family based on the teams, players and content you choose to follow.

This is a major step towards creating a truly supporter-first digital experience, ensuring the website works for you, rather than asking you to search for what interests you.

Up-to-Date Player Information

You said: Members wanted more accessible and up-to-date player information.

We did: We've enhanced player profile pages across all teams, making them easier to find and ensuring information is kept up to date.

Player profiles now sit more prominently throughout the website, allowing supporters to quickly access biographies, statistics and key information on their favourite players.
