Run the Birmingham Half for Warwickshire Cricket Foundation

Fancy a challenge with a great cause behind it? Whether you’ve already signed up and are looking for a charity to run for, or you’re thinking about taking on the Birmingham Half, we’d love to hear from you.

The AJ Bell Birmingham Half Marathon will be returning in the spring of 2027 - taking place in the city centre on Sunday, 2 May next year.

The 13-mile run begins at Centenary Square and takes you around Birmingham; you will journey through the Jewellery Quarter and into the city centre, passing Birmingham New Street and the Bullring.

Runners then head out of the city, venturing down the Pershore Road and eventually circle Selly Park, Cannon Hill Park and Edgbaston Stadium itself.

On your return to the city centre, you will eventually complete at the finish, located at Aston University.

The Birmingham Half in 2026 attracted more than 12,000 runners, while a further 4,000 attended this year to compete in the 10k, which takes place alongside the Half.

You could either be already confirmed, ready to participate and looking for a charity to run on behalf of, or you may be somebody who has yet to sign up but would be interested in representing Warwickshire Cricket Foundation.

Our mantra ‘Cricket Without Limits’ highlights WCF’s commitment to use cricket to encourage mass participation and promote inclusivity across the county of Warwickshire and city of Birmingham.

Cricket, and all of its benefits - whether socially, physically or mentally - should be available and accessible to everyone, no matter your ability, age or background.

The successful candidate will help to raise essential funds for our various causes and initiatives which take place, and are overseen by our excellent team, across the region and around the calendar.
