It’s been a rapid rise through the cricketing ranks for Perrin, with the 20-year-old opening batter set to continue her development at Edgbaston. From joining Central Sparks Academy at the start of 2022, to making history in The Hundred in 2025, here’s a timeline of Perrin’s career to date…
May 2021
At the age of just 14, Perrin makes her senior debut, doing so for Staffordshire in a T20 fixture against Worcestershire.
February 2022
Perrin was selected for the Central Sparks Academy, impressing immediately before being added to the full Central Sparks squad shortly after. She made her debut seven months later in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
June 2022
In the second season of The Hundred, Perrin signed for Birmingham Phoenix. Despite not making an appearance, at the age of just 15, she became the youngest player in the competition’s history.
October 2022
Capping an incredible year, Perrin was selected in the England Under 19 squad for the 2023 ICC Under 19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
January 2023
Perrin would play four times in the Under 19 Women’s T20 World Cup for England, playing a part with both bat and ball as England topped their group before they were eventually beaten by India in the final.
June 2024
After coming close on several occasions, Perrin registers her first List A half-century, doing so for Central Sparks against Northern Diamonds in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. Her 50 comes from 69 balls and includes four fours and one six.
March 2025
Perrin signs for Warwickshire as Bears Women are awarded Tier 1 status.
April 2025
Perrin makes her debut for Warwickshire Bears Women, doing so in the Metro Bank One Day Cup. It’s a thriller too, with the game against Hampshire ending in a draw.
August 2025
Playing for Northern Superchargers in the elimination game of The Hundred, Perrin makes history, scoring the fastest century in The Hundred women’s competition with a blistering 42-ball ton against London Spirit.
A day later, Perrin became a The Hundred winner as Northern Superchargers triumph over Southern Brave by seven wickets.
October 2025
After impressing for both Warwickshire Bears and Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred, Perrin wins the prestigious Professional Cricketers Association Women’s Young Player of the Year Award.
September 2026
Perrin signs a two-year contract extension with Warwickshire Bears Women, keeping her at the Club until at least the end of 2028.
