2027 Ashes: The Ballot and how best to secure tickets

There are several ways to get your hands on tickets for next summer’s Major Match Days at Edgbaston, including the 2027 Ashes.

Fans can enter the free ticket Ballot when it opens on Wednesday 2 September, with no commitment to buy if successful, or beat the Ballot by accessing tickets earlier through selected Memberships or by purchasing tickets for this September’s England vs Pakistan Test.

With demand expected to be extremely high, here’s everything you need to know about the Ballot – and the key dates for fans looking to beat it.

KEY DATES

Wednesday 2 September, 10am – Ballot opens

The 2027 ticket Ballot opens for all our Major Matches next summer, including the Men’s and Women’s Ashes. The Ballot is open for four weeks. It’s free and easy to enter via the Edgbaston website.

Thursday 3 September, 10am - 1882 Full Club renewal window

If you were an 1882 Full Club Member in 2026 and renew for 2027, you can get first access to tickets at the very best prices, saving 20% against full price.

There will be excellent availability in this window, but we expect seats in the Tom Dollery Lounge to sell quickly so make sure you buy early to avoid disappointment.

Members can purchase a maximum of four tickets per day for the Ashes Test, including two in the Members area, and six per match for all other fixtures.

Monday 7 September, 10am - 1882 Full Club window

New 1882 Full Club and Next Gen Members will have next access to Ashes tickets. Good availability is still expected during this window.

Tuesday 15 September, 10am - B5 White Ball Member window

The next available Membership that can beat the Ballot is the 2027 B5 White Ball Members, who will get access to tickets at a discounted price saving of 5% per ticket. Availability is still expected to be good, however there will likely be limited seats in some stands.

Thursday 17 September, 10am - Priority Club, Bears Pass and PHX Pass Members

Priority Club, Bears Pass and PHX Pass Members are the next to get access to Ashes tickets. Fans are encouraged to act fast in this window, with a limited number of tickets available.

Priority Club Memberships are already sold out, with over 8,500 sold, but Bears and PHX Passes are available from only £60.

Tuesday 22 September, 10am – England v Pakistan Test purchasers

Anyone who purchases a ticket for this September's Test against Pakistan will get next access to tickets. Tickets will be limited, but availability will remain across all days.

Tuesday 29 September, midnight - Ballot closes

Opening on Wednesday 2 September, the Ballot is open for four weeks until midnight on Tuesday 29 September. Don’t miss out.

Wednesday 30 September- Ballot Winners selected

After the Ballot closes, all Ballot Winners will be contacted the following day, notifying them of when their window to purchase tickets will be.

Thursday 1 October, 10am - Ballot Winners window

Those selected as Ballot Winners will have access to their selected day to buy tickets from 10am. Tickets will be very limited, so get in early to avoid disappointment.

Wednesday 14 October, 10am - General Sale

Any remaining tickets will go on general sale from 10am.
