Take on the London Marathon 2027 and support Warwickshire Cricket Foundation

Warwickshire Cricket Foundation is on the look-out for a runner to represent us in the 2027 TCS London Marathon - and it could be you who takes part.

The world-renowned London Marathon is a race with charity at its centre - hundreds of thousands of runners have taken part since its inception in 1981 and they have collectively raised almost £1.5 billion. Next year, the Foundation will champion a representative for the very first time.

In 2027, the 26-mile run takes competitors on the famous path which passes London’s most notable landmarks - and, as of now, we are on the look-out for the ideal candidate to participate on our behalf.

The selected individual must be able to share a cricket-themed story which is their inspiration and motivation for running and they must pledge to raise £2,500 for the Foundation (does not include Gift Aid), and secure the total amount by end of May 2027. The London Marathon takes place on Sunday, 25 April 2027.

Fundraising gives us the power to reach even more people and champion our cause with real impact. For a cricket charity like ours, every pound raised helps provide coaching, equipment, safe-playing spaces, and life‑changing opportunities for people from Birmingham to the Cotswolds.

Because of people's genoristy, cricket becomes more than a sport; it becomes a pathway to confidence, community, and brighter futures".
