Community Projects
We are committed to making a positive impact in our local communities across Warwickshire and Birmingham through the power of sport and physical activity.
We work with local partners such as Birmingham City Football Club Foundation, Birmingham 2022, and Heart of England Community Foundation to plan and deliver cricket projects across the county, engaging all generations and communities and using cricket as a force for positive change.
Cricket is a powerful way to bring people together. We work with local community groups to promote health, wellbeing, and active lifestyles. Some of our ongoing programmes are highlighted below.Fidelis NavasFoundation Director

Reach communities
that currently have a limited sporting offer in order to promote wellbeing. This specifically includes participation amongst women and girls.

Promoting Edgbaston Stadium
Including our Indoor Cricket Centre, as a key community asset, able to support a wider community offer. We provide a range of adapted versions of cricket to make cricket more accessible for beginners.

Promote the sport sector
Especially cricket, as a career of choice through providing work experience opportunities.
The Bob Willis Fund
In partnership with the Bob Willis Fund, we use the power of sport to promote health awareness.
Bears Discovery
Learn about our Bears Discovery programme, offering children a fantastic day out at Edgbaston.
Walking Cricket
We work with The Bob Willis Fund to deliver walking cricket sessions in both Coventry and Handsworth.
Skills Blast
Our Skills Blast unites generations and communities across Warwickshire and Birmingham.
United By 22
We provide opportunities for young people across Warwickshire and Birmingham to gain employability skills, in partnership with United By 22.
HS2
Our goal is to use community spaces in Balsall Common and Meriden to tackle physical inactivity among young people.
