Hong Kong-born Sam Hain, who was raised in Australia by English parents, showed huge potential as a teenager. Aged 18, he broke Ian Bell’s record to become the youngest man to score a County Championship century for Warwickshire, and he’s been a linchpin of the Bears’ batting in all formats ever since. His white-ball stats are among the best in the world with a List A average in the high 50s while his T20 batting has seen the Bears to countless victories. Having knocked on the England door for several years, Hain made his international debut in 2024, scoring 89 on debut in a One Day International against Ireland.
