Free tickets for Day One of Warwickshire’s title-chasing clash with Leicestershire

Free tickets will be available to all fans on day one of Warwickshire’s huge Rothesay County Championship clash with Leicestershire next week, as the Bears target a first title since 2021.

Warwickshire are firmly in contention heading into the final game of the season, with the four-day fixture getting under way at Edgbaston Stadium on Thursday 24 September.

It promises to be a gripping finale to the season, and fans can be part of the action for free on the opening day by claiming their ticket online in advance.

On days two, three and four, tickets are priced at just £15 with U16s free of charge.

There will be plenty to enjoy over the final four days of the campaign, both on and off-the-pitch.

While Ed Barnard’s men look to add their names to the history books, additional bars will be open around the ground.

Head of Ticketing, Hospitality and Memberships at Warwickshire, Gareth Howells, said: “We really want to make the final fixture of 2026 special, and with the Bears in contention to win the title, we’re delighted to offer free tickets for the opening day.

“We would love as many people to come down as possible to show their support to the players, who have been outstanding in the competition this season.

“The Members and fans of Warwickshire are the backbone of the Club, and we hope there will be plenty for them to enjoy over the final four days of cricket in 2026 at Edgbaston. It’s set to be a great week.”
