Third Test set for fourth day at Edgbaston after Pakistan fireworks

A resolute and at times thrilling Pakistan batting display has taken the third and final Rothesay Test at Edgbaston Stadium into the weekend.

England entered day three with a mammoth 268-run lead and, with Pakistan at 52/2, had victory well within their sights. What ensued, however, would not have been predicted by the majority of the 18,518-strong crowd inside Edgbaston Stadium. Tickets for day four are still available and can be purchased here.

Shan Masood and Babar Azam dug in for the majority of the day, before tailenders Razaullah (81) and Mohammed Abbas (42) put on a thrilling ninth wicket partnership which contained ten sixes and nine fours, leaving England with a 129-run chase to contend with on day four.

A strong crowd is expected for Saturday’s fourth day so spectators are encouraged to arrive early and drink in the atmosphere ahead of what will be an exciting finish to Test cricket this summer.

Spectators can attend tomorrow’s game safe in the knowledge that Edgbaston’s full refund policy is in place, meaning that if less than 15 overs are bowled then ticket holders are entitled to a FULL REFUND, while less than 30 overs will result in a 50% refund.

If play does finish early, spectators do not need to do anything. Refunds will be processed automatically and returned to the original payment card used to make the booking. No booking fees will be refunded.
