All-rounder Ed Barnard joined Warwickshire from neighbours Worcestershire ahead of the 2023 season and has been a key part of the setup at Edgbaston since, impressing across formats.
After his first full season he would be named Metro Bank One Day Cup MVP, before replicating that feat in 2024 after scoring 433 runs at an average of 61.85 while also ending the competition as the join leading wicket-taker with 19.
In 2025, Barnard would pick up the prestigious PCA Men’s Domestic Overall MVP award during a summer in which he took 43 wickets across formats and scored 1,615 runs.
Barnard was named Warwickshire Captain across all formats ahead of the 2026 season.
