With 13 awards presented on the night amongst the Warwickshire Access, seniors, women’s and men’s teams, Yates took the men’s Young Player of the Year, Members’ Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the year in recognition of his five centuries that helped the Bears to the LV= Insurance County Championship and the Bob Willis Trophy.

Bears seamer Craig Miles scooped the Kim Jones Award for Player of the Season with his five for 28 in the Bob Willis Trophy, whilst Chris Benjamin was rewarded for an excellent first season as a Bear with the Men’s 2nd XI Player of the Season. First Team Coach Mark Robinson and senior Bears Olly Stone, Dom Sibley and Olly Hannon-Dalby were on hand to collect the awards for Yates and Norwell who departed for England Lions duty on the same day.
