Warwickshire have named a 14-player squad for the trip to Cardiff, with the playing XI set to be announced at the toss.

Tight at the top
The Bears produced an emphatic three days of cricket in their last fixture against Hampshire, winning by an innings and 129 runs on the road to remain firmly in title contention. While they stay third in Division One, the gap at the top has closed. The Bears are five points behind leaders Somerset and just one behind defending champions Nottinghamshire.
It’s also two wins in three for Ed Barnard’s side, with trips to Glamorgan this week followed by Essex away and finally Leicestershire at Edgbaston concluding the season.
Last week a ton from Rob Yates (109) in the first innings, 90 from Sam Hain and a 51 from Kai Smith helped the Bears to 398 all out. Three wickets each for Ethan Bamber (3-36), Olly Hannon-Dalby (3-14) and the returning Manav Suthar (3-42) saw the Bears dismiss the hosts for 115 in their first innings before Barnard enforced the follow on.
Suthar (4-52) impressed again in the second innings, as did the full Bears attack, with Hampshire all out for 154.
The Bears have three games remaining as they bid to win a first Rothesay County Championship title in five years.
Opposition insight
Glamorgan have enjoyed a fine return to Division One of the County Championship having gained promotion from Division Two last season. Up until three matches ago, they were in contention at the top of the table, but two losses and a draw in their last three outings have halted their progress. They currently sit fifth in the table with three wins, four losses and four draws from their 11 games.
Last time out they were well beaten by table-topping Somerset in Taunton, going down by an innings and 64 runs.
Previous meeting
The two teams played out an entertaining draw at Edgbaston when they met back in May. Bowling first, the Bears couldn’t stop an inspired Ben Kellaway who struck 139, however Hannon-Dalby (5-53) bowled brilliantly to take five wickets as Glamorgan reached 360 all out.
Warwickshire were dismissed for 252 in their first innings, with Jordan Thompson (57) and Ethan Bamber (46) scoring crucial runs down the order.
Bamber (5-48) then took five wickets of his own in Glamorgan’s second innings, as a century from Colin Ingram (101) helped the visitors to 259 all out. With little time left in the game to chase 368 for victory, Warwickshire ended play on 100 for two as Glamorgan took 14 points to the Bears’ 12.
