Sudbrook CC to host Wales v Warwickshire National County fixture

Warwickshire will head to Sudbrook Cricket Club to face Wales National County on Sunday 30 July (11am start).

Each of the 18 First Class Counties will continue to play a match against a National County ahead of the One-Day Cup with the Bears heading west five days before their opening fixture at Somerset.

In 2021, Warwickshire's match against Cheshire was cancelled due to COVID, but the Bears visited Chester Boughton Hall last year, securing an emphatic 107-run victory.

A South East Wales Cricket League member, Sudbrook, who formed in the 1860s, are based in Caldicot and play their matches at Mill Lane.

Having previously played at Glamorgan, who they beat in 2021, the last two years, the Welsh outfit are excited to add the clash to other hosted matches such as a testimonial for Glamorgan legend Steve James, Wales County Age Group, Wales over-50s and Glamorgan Second XI fixtures.
