There were also positives across both the men’s and women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup competitions where attendances also increased compared to 2025.

Assisted by Ed Barnard’s team producing some outstanding cricket en route to the Club’s ninth County Championship crown, men’s red-ball cricket attendances increased by 27.23%.

Fans got to see Warwickshire go unbeaten at Edgbaston in the seven County Championship matchdays, as they picked up four wins and three draws.

Men’s One Day Cup attendances increased by 11.75% compared to 2025, while women’s One Day Cup attendances were up by almost 5% across the same time frame.

Warwickshire Head of Ticketing, Hospitality and Memberships, Gareth Howells, said: “It was fantastic to see more people coming through the gates last season, and the numbers reflect that.

“The success of the team on the field has undoubtedly played a significant part in that growth, and it’s been brilliant to have so many supporters getting behind the team throughout the season. This culminated in amazing scenes on the outfield at Edgbaston after the final wicket of the year fell a couple of weeks ago.

“We’re hugely grateful to everyone who has come through the gates and hope we can build on that again next year.”
