Blast from the past

Warwickshire's team of the glorious mid-1990s was very much a collective but when Sussex visited Edgbaston for an Axa Equity & Law game in 1995 they were pretty much beaten by two men called Smith. Paul scored 85 out of the Bears' 180 and then took four wickets while Neil snared six as the visitors hurtled from 83 without loss to 166 all out.

Who's hot?

Krunal Pandya. Oozed class on his way to 74 from 82 balls at the Kia Oval last Sunday.

Look out for

Cheteshwar Pujara. India batter averages 43 from 96 Test matches and is a high class player. He will come up against his international teammate in Krunal Pandya.
