Blast from the past

Three of the Bears' seven Blast wins over the Falcons have come at Derby, most recently last year when, chasing 160, they were in trouble at 18 for three before Dan Mousley's brilliant 34-ball half-century powered them to a three-wicket win.

Who's hot?

Paul Stirling: Hit the ground running on his debut, last night, smashing his fourth ball as a Bear for six and then 34 from an over on the way to a scintillating 119 from 51 balls.

Look out for

Falcons new signing Aussie signing Hayden Kerr. The left-arm fast-bowling all-rounder was Sydney Sixers man-of-the-series in last winter's Big Bash.

On the brink

Carlos Brathwaite needs five runs for 5,000 across all formats.
