Darren Gough
Darren Gough, who will be making a special appearance in the 1882 Club and Executive Boxes on the first three days of the Men's Test, was known for his electrifying pace and is considered one of England's all-time great fast bowlers.
Taking 229 Test wickets and 235 ODI wickets in an international career spanning over 12 years, Gough is now a beloved pundit and personality as a TalkSport presenter. At Edgbaston, Darren Gough famously took one of his nine 5-wicket hauls against a formidable West Indies side in 2000, including the wickets of Chris Gayle and Brian Lara.
Mark Ramprakash
Mark Ramprakash is a celebrated English batsman, known as one of the finest run scorers in county cricket with a longevity lasting over two decades. He will be in the Warwickshire Suite and Executive Boxes when the West Indies come to Edgbaston for a Men's ODI in May.
Making his ODI debut against West Indies in 1991, Ramprakash has over 2,500 international runs to his name and is one of the leading first-class batsman in the modern era.
Steve Harmison
Steve Harmison will be joining us to greet guests in the Warwickshire Suite and Executive Boxes on the first four days of the Men's Test against India. At his peak, Harmison was considered one of the world's most reveered fast bowlers and previous Wisden Cricketer of the Year winner.
Known for his hostile bowling style, he was a key figure in England's triumphant Ashes winning team in 2005 and was involved in possibly the most famous moment in Edgbaston history as he took the final wicket to claim victory over Australia by 2 runs in the second Test of the greatest ever series.
Look out for further announcements coming soon about our guest speakers for Vitality Blast Finals Day on Saturday 13 September.
