Edgbaston Stadium is officially sold out for Vitality Blast Finals Day.

Over 20,000 fans have bought tickets for one of the most highly anticipated days in the cricket calendar, and one of the best-supported events in Birmingham which takes place today, Saturday 18 July.

It is the sixth successive year that the event has been sold out.

Four teams – Northamptonshire, Somerset, Hampshire and Nottinghamshire – qualified for Finals Day after coming through their respective Quarter Finals earlier this week, with a bumper crowd in attendance for all of the action at The People’s Home of Cricket.

In the first Semi-Final, Northants triumphed by 18 runs over defending champions Somerset to book their place in the Final, as they target a first Blast title since 2016.

Hampshire take on Nottinghamshire in the second Semi-Final at 2:30pm, before the Final is scheduled to get under way at 6:45pm.

Edgbaston Stadium Ticketing & Membership Manager, Will Kerr, said: “On the pitch, Finals Day is always a special occasion, and off it, the fans make it one of the best days at Edgbaston each year.

“The atmosphere is always second to none, so to have the stadium packed to capacity gives the players the best possible platform to showcase what they can do.
