Date set for Vitality Blast Finals Day 2025

Edgbaston will host Vitality Blast Men’s Finals Day next year on Saturday 13 September after the ECB confirmed its 2025 domestic finals calendar.

It’s the 13th successive season English cricket’s domestic showpiece event will be staged at Edgbaston and demand for tickets is again expected to be high.

Finals Day has sold out before general sale in each of the last four years.

With demand growing year-on-year the best chance for fans to get tickets is to enter the Edgbaston ticket Ballot online at edgbaston.com/ballot.

VIP Experiences and Premium Tickets for 2025 will go on general sale from 10pm on Saturday 14 September at the conclusion if this year’s final.

Edgbaston Chief Executive Stuart Cain, said: “Finals Day at Edgbaston is always the first date that cricket fans lock into their diary year after year.

“We’re hugely privileged to have hosted Finals Day for so many years, it keeps getting better and better, and 2025 is again set to be an occasion to remember.”

It’s one of eight domestic finals to be played across men’s, women’s and disability competitions next season with the historic first Vitality Blast Women’s Finals Day to be staged on Sunday 27 July at the Kia Oval.

Last week it was announced the men’s and women’s domestic T20 and 50-over competitions will next season be fully aligned for the first time with Vitality and Metro Bank the title sponsors.

The Metro Bank One-Day Cup Men’s Final will be staged at Trent Bridge on Saturday 20 September with the Utilita Bowl hosting the first Metro Bank One-Day Cup Women’s Final on Sunday 21 September.

Bears Women will be competing in both the Women’s Vitality Blast and Metro Bank One Day Cup competitions.

And they will also challenge for the first piece of domestic silverware on offer for the season, the inaugural ECB Women’s T20 County Cup.

It’s a new knock-out cup competition consisting of teams from all three tiers of the expanded women’s domestic structure – with Finals Day hosted by the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton on Monday 26 May.
