Beau Webster re-signs for 2026

Beau Webster has re-signed for Warwickshire for the 2026 summer.

The 31-year-old Australian international will join the Bears at the start of the season and remain until the end of July, covering all of the first three months of the season.

Webster has been an excellent addition to the Bears' squad in 2025, playing a major hand in two of their Championship victories.

Most recently, he scored his maiden century for Warwickshire in their mammoth run chase against local rivals Worcestershire, where Webster finished on 100* in achieving the 393 runs needed for victory, the county's third-highest successful chase in their history.

In his stint with Warwickshire, Webster has amassed 361 runs at an average of 45.12 and taken 16 wickets at 26.56.

First team coach Ian Westwood said, “Beau has been a dream overseas recruit. He has spent time playing club cricket in Birmingham in the past, already knew some of the squad, and has felt part of the furniture from day one.

Webster is a rising star on the international stage, having debuted against India last winter in the dramatic finale to their five-match series and has cemented his place in the Australian Test side.

Webster was Australia’s highest run scorer in the World Test Championship final, and is expected to play a full part in this winter's hotly anticipated Ashes series.

Westwood said, “He is a triple-threat player of top international calibre, and we cannot wait to welcome him back next April. It’s great news for the Club and us as a team – and we hope he takes a full part in T20 Blast cricket next year as well as Championship cricket.”
