Bears team up with Tickets for Troops to offer free tickets

Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Tickets for Troops have launched a new partnership that will see veterans receive free tickets to Bears fixtures for the remainder of 2026.

Following Armed Forces Day which took place on Saturday 27 June, the Bears and Tickets for Troops have teamed up, with 50 tickets to all Rothesay County Championship and One Day Cup fixtures at Edgbaston Stadium available, free of charge.

Tickets for Troops, which is a charity that provides free tickets to members of the Armed Forces, including serving personal, those medically discharged since 2001, and their families, has distributed over two million free tickets since launching in 2009.

Alongside 50 free tickets to four-day and one-day cricket, veterans can also receive a 25% discount on all tickets for the remaining Vitality Blast fixtures at Edgbaston.

Warwickshire County Cricket Club Ticketing & Membership Manager, Will Kerr, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be working with Tickets for Troops, to welcome members of the Armed Forces and their families to Edgbaston.

“Cricket has a unique way of bringing people together, and we hope these tickets give those who have served our country the chance to enjoy a memorable day out with their loved ones while experiencing everything that makes matchdays at Edgbaston so special.”
