Bears sign Garlick for Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign

Warwickshire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce the signing of Jake Garlick on a short-term contract for the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

The 21-year-old joins the Bears’ first team squad after impressing through the Staffordshire cricket pathway and will provide additional depth during the competition.

A talented all-round cricketer, Garlick currently represents the NCCA Staffordshire First XI and has developed through Staffordshire's player pathway system. As part of Warwickshire's long-standing partnership with Staffordshire Cricket, he has also featured in Warwickshire Under-18 and Second XI fixtures over the past four seasons.

Garlick's performances across the pathway have earned him the opportunity to step up to the professional environment and join the Bears squad for the duration of the Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign.

He currently plays club cricket for Moddershall & Oulton CC in the North Staffs & South Cheshire Premier League, where he has continued to showcase his talent and potential.
