Ali and Woakes named in Bangladesh series

Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes have both been named in the ODI and IT20 squad for the upcoming series in Bangladesh.

Starting on March 1, England and Bangladesh will play three ODIs and three IT20s with matches distributed between Dhaka and Chattogram.

The duo will be preparing for a new experience, as the IT20 series will be the first bilateral engagement between the two teams. Previously, England and Bangladesh have only faced each other in IT20s once – the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021.

Ali and Woakes did play in Bangladesh in 2016 however, with England winning an ODI series 2-1.
