Rail & Shuttle Bus
Travelling by train is one of the easiest ways to reach Edgbaston. Birmingham New Street is the city's main rail hub, with regular services from across the UK. Alternatively, the brand-new Moseley Village railway station is just a 15–20 minute walk from the stadium, providing another convenient rail option for matchday travel.
For selected fixtures, including all International fixtures and The Hundred fixtures, the 501 Shuttle Bus operates between Birmingham city centre and Edgbaston. The shuttle bus pick-up point is located on Smallbrook Queensway, directly outside Birmingham New Street Station (opposite TK Maxx and close to the Bullring), making it convenient for passengers arriving at both New Street and Moor Street stations. On arrival at Edgbaston, the shuttle bus drops passengers off on Priory Road. Following the match, return services depart from the Indoor School.
Shuttle buses operate on all major matchdays, beginning up to two hours before the scheduled start of play. For double headers, services begin up to two hours before the start of the men's match. Return services operate after the close of play, taking spectators back to Birmingham city centre.
Adult day passes cost £6 and child day passes cost £4.50.
Car Parking
We encourage all spectators attending a fixture this summer to leave the car at home and use public transport.
However, if you plan to travel by car, parking can be pre-booked for our Major Match, Vitality Blast and The Hundred fixtures at parkthecar.com, subject to availability. Please do not travel without first booking your car park space. There are only a limited number of spaces available and this will guarantee you a parking spot close to the stadium.
No car parking will be available to purchase for our County Championship and One-Day Cup fixtures. Pay and display parking spaces can be accessed at Queen’s Ride, across the road from Edgbaston, by the MAC at Cannon Hill Park.
Accessible parking for Blue Badge holders will be available and spaces are required to be reserved in advance online at tickets.edgbaston.com. If you are attending an event on a non-matchday, limited on-site parking will be available free-of-charge. Please speak to your event organiser for more information.
Please note that while Edgbaston Stadium is outside Birmingham's Clean Air Zone, some driving routes to the stadium may pass through the zone. If you're travelling by car, we recommend checking whether your vehicle is subject to a Clean Air Zone charge before setting off.
