Keith Barker
As announced yesterday, Keith Barker has retired from professional cricket with immediate effect after sustaining a knee injury earlier in the season.
Sam Hain
The Bears’ batter suffered a knee injury during the Metro Bank One Day Cup and has been working hard in recent weeks to get back to full fitness. He has returned to light training, but is not yet fit enough to be named in a matchday squad.
George Garton
After a frustrating start to the season which saw him miss the entire Vitality Blast campaign with a stress fracture in his back, Garton made several appearances during the Metro Bank One Day Cup as a batter. He is still managing his workload to ensure he has no long-lasting effects of the injury and is playing in the Second XI game against Lancashire this week.
The rest of the men’s squad and the entire women’s squad is at full fitness for this week’s fixtures.
