Warwickshire Bears Roadshow heads to Stratford-upon-Avon for cricketing showcase

Warwickshire’s Bears Roadshow will arrive at Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club on Tuesday 4th August, bringing together players from across the county for an evening of cricket.

A Warwickshire XI will take on a Warwickshire County Cricket League XI on Tuesday 4th August, with play beginning at 5pm. The fixture will give supporters the opportunity to watch some of the county’s leading talent in a local club setting, while highlighting the important role recreational cricket plays in developing players and growing the game across the region. Hosted by Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club, the match forms part of the Bears Roadshow, which takes Warwickshire cricket into local communities and gives supporters the chance to enjoy the action away from Edgbaston. For those selected, the fixture will provide an opportunity to represent the League, play alongside talented cricketers from other clubs and demonstrate the strength of the recreational game across Warwickshire and Birmingham.

Warwickshire Cricket Foundation Managing Director, Fidelis Navas, said: “The Bears Roadshow is one of the highlights of our summer programme, providing a fantastic opportunity for cricketers of all ages and abilities to come together in the heart of the county.

"Through the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation’s partnership with Warwickshire County Cricket Club, the Roadshow brings top-class cricket directly into local communities, helping to inspire the next generation, strengthen connections with the recreational game, and celebrate cricket at every level.” The evening promises to be an enjoyable occasion for families, club members and cricket supporters, who will be able to watch the action from close quarters and experience the atmosphere of a Bears fixture at one of the county’s local grounds. Admission is free for under-16s, while adult tickets are priced at £5.
