Talent first and foremost, and in order for guys to perform consistently they need to have clearly defined roles within the team
 
What’s it like to captain?
You can control things up to a point but there are so many variables and the game moves on so quickly that you have to run with it

I like to give myself room and go over the offside
 
What’s the most memorable Twenty20 match you’ve played in?
We played Somerset at Edgbaston last year. We got about 190 and they finished a run short with Jeetan Patel bowling a really good last over

Marcus Trescothick’s always a tough player to contain
