Warwickshire's 2nd XI went down by 7 wickets to a strong Durham side after being put into bat at Knowle and Dorridge C.C. and making 146 in the SE Trophy

Durham won the toss at Knowe and Dorridge and after a delay for rain the Warwickshire Second team found themselves in deep early trouble at 58-6 against the experienced visiting attack.

Tom Allin 60 helped stage a recovery, taking the total on to 146 in the fortieth over when the final wicket fell.

Ben Harmison was the most successful Durham bowler finishing with three wickets.

In reply, Will Smith 40, Ben Harmison 42 and Gordon Muchall 42* helped Durham complete their task in the thirty fourth over to complete a comfortable seven wicket victory, against the Bears.
