Seconds are pipped by Nottinghamshire
Warwickshire's Second Eleven were beaten by two wickets by Nottinghamshire at Berkswell C.C. in their latest SE Trophy match
Warwickshire lost the toss at Berkswell C.C. and the visitors, Nottinghamshire put them into bat, claiming early wickets to leave the Bears in trouble on 9-3 before a fourth wicket partnership of one hundred and seven between Richard Johnson 51 and Usman Shabir 59 eased the pressure.
Paul Best 52 added some lower order runs before the innings closed on 245 all out from 49-3 overs. For Nottinghamshire Jake Ball took 4-46.
In their reply, Neil Edwards fell for Nottinghamshire with the total on forty four to a good return catch from Tom Milnes, but rain then brought a forty five minute delay and Nottinghamshire appeared to be cruising to victory on 222-4 before Milnes took four wickets for just one rum to leave them on 226-8.
White and Ball dug in and saw Nottinghamshire home with an over to spare to record a hard earned victory on 248-8.
Tom Milnes ended with 5-46 from his ten overs
