Edgbaston Sleepout returns on Thursday 26th April 2018! Raise money to combat homelessness in the region by sleeping out in the grounds of internationally renowned Edgbaston Stadium.

The sleepout is intended to support the work of our charity partner St. Basils and The Birmingham Churches Winter Nights project, addressing homelessness around Birmingham and the Warwickshire region.

This is an opportunity for approximately 70-80 influential individuals in the city to sleep out under the stars at Edgbaston Stadium to raise £25k in aid of homelessness in the region.

On the night there will be tours of Edgbaston Stadium, a light meal, speeches from special guests before heading out to sleep at the iconic Edgbaston Stadium. There will be complimentary tickets to a T20 fixture at Edgbaston as well as a chance to network with other key individuals across the city. Warwickshire County Cricket Club Sport Director and former England cricketer Ashley Giles is also set to join fundraisers on the night.

Ravi Masih, Head of Community Engagement at Warwickshire CCC, said: “Taking part in the Edgbaston Sleepout won’t just raise funds for a great cause, it will also provide a life experience and an understanding of what rough sleepers go through on a regular basis. Those taking part can help us address this growing situation in Birmingham and Warwickshire.”
