The Edgbaston Foundation is the official charity of Warwickshire County Cricket Club/Edgbaston Stadium. The charity aims to harness our position to influence positive social change within the local community.

We caught up with head of community engagement, Ravi Masih, to reflect on a busy year for the Edgbaston Foundation and look back at how the Foundation has become a vehicle for change in the community. The Foundation hopes that sport can be a unifier and a source for motivation to improve life outcomes and to help people feel like they belong, not just to the club, but to society. In the short video below we look back at how the Foundation has continued to build established projects such as the bat giveaway and also look at new initiatives that have been devolved with new stakeholders around the business and sports community.

As the official charity of Edgbaston Stadium/Warwickshire Cricket Club, the Edgbaston Foundation is the vehicle for growth of community engagement and social responsibility activity. Our aim is to harness our position as the charity of a major sporting institution to influence positive social change within our community with a focus on issues affecting young people.

The Edgbaston Foundation focuses on three key areas. Enable.Enrich. Engage. Our engage strand focuses on cohesion and inclusion of those that are disadvantaged or on the fringes. Sport can be a unifier and a source for motivation to improve life outcomes and to help people feel like they belong, not just to the club, but to society.
