The new £32million ground redevelopment is possibly the most exciting period in the history of Edgbaston.

Officially opened by HRH Prince Philip in July, Edgbaston has been transformed into one of the leading international Test and County cricket grounds in the world.

Ground capacity is been expanded 25,000 while at the same time boasting superb new conference, hospitality and banqueting facilities, world-class playing facilities, exceptional media and office accommodation and a visual learning centre. The superb Conference and Banqueting Suite caters for up to 700 people offering a unique view over the Edgbaston pitch, the Birmingham city skyline on one side, and Cannon Hill Park on the other.

Unlike other cricketing venues, spectators in the large banqueting facilities are able to enjoy viewing cricket whilst being catered for at the same time.

The Banqueting Suite can be divided into three sections and used for almost any type of event from dining, weddings, major conferences, annual general meetings and exhibition space of 1,050sq meters.
