What's your first cricket-related memory? Breaking a window in my father’s cricket club

When did you first realise you had the talent to be a professional cricketer? I don’t think you ‘realise’ as such – it just hits you

What's your career highlight to date? Winning the Ashes at The Oval. Obviously it is was all the better for having made a few runs

What's been your best moment playing for Warwickshire? My debut hundred was special, and winning the Pro40 second division last year was great for the whole team

Who have been the biggest influences on your career? My mum and dad and the coaches who have helped me work on my game – John Inverarity and Ashley Giles

Who are you tipping for a big year in 2010? Boyd Rankin

What's the best ground you’ve played at? Newlands was pretty special earlier this year, and I love playing at Edgbaston

Which Warwickshire player would you most trust under a skyer? Tim Ambrose – he’s got the gloves on after all

Who’s the slowest between the stumps in the Warwickshire squad? Neil Carter, without a doubt!

What are your hobbies outside of cricket? I follow a lot of sport, particularly football and NFL

How would you spend the last £10 you will ever own? Buy a few chocolates and some chocolate milk
