Ian Bell named NatWest Man of the Series again

After England completed a 4-0 series win over Australia Warwickshire's Ian Bell was named as NatWest Man of the Series

Having already secured the NatWest's Man of the Series award after his performances against the West Indies, last month, Ian Bell was again named as the NatWest man of the Series after England's 7 wicket victory over Australia at Old Trafford when completing a 4-0 series win.

With an aggeregate of 189 runs from his four innings, including two half centuries, Bell was England's top scorer in the series averaging 47.25.

A delighted Ian Bell said about the series after the presentation, "We were helped by our bowlers, they set the tone and it's nice to chase a lower total. Batting at the top of the order suits my style, so hopefully it's a good platform for the future. We've got to swtich back ino Test mode now and it should be an exciting series against South Africa."

Ian will also be available to play for Warwickshire in the LV= County Championship match against Sussex at Edgbaston beginning on Thursday July 12th at noon.
