Lancashire 2nd XI v Warwickshire 2nd XI SE Trophy

Warwickshire's Second Eleven beat Lancashire at Old Trafford by 4 wickets in the Second Eleven Trophy.

Lancashire won the toss in the Bears' third Second Eleven Trophy match of the summer and chose to bat at Old Trafford.

The Bears' bowlers kept a tight line and despite Clark making seventy one from seventy three deliveries they were able to restrict Lancashire to 169 from 38.3 overs.

Tom Allin 3-20 was the most successful bowler while Milnes, Carter and Miller each took two wickets, while Richard Johnson took five catches behind the stumps.

In their reply, Warwickshire slipped to 91-5 after Westwood 15, Evans 12, Coleman 12, Webb 6, and Johnson 19 had all been dismissed, before a partnership of seventy three between Ateeq Javid 56 and Steff Piolet 36* helped take Warwickshire to the verge of victory.

This was duly completed with one over to spare securing a four wicket victory and 2 points
