NatWest CricketForce 2012

NatWest CricketForce 2012 is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 30th March – 1st April, and the Warwickshire Cricket Board is encouraging clubs to rejuvenate their facilities by signing up to the volunteering initiative.

Bears players will again be turning out to support local club’s following last year’s successful renovation projects at Moseley Ashfield CC and Tanworth & Camp Hill CC in 2011, which were visited by Chris Woakes, Boyd Rankin, Neil Carter, Laurie Evans, Ateeq Javid and Tom Allin.

Darren Franklin, County Volunteer Co-ordinator at the Warwickshire Cricket Board, said: “From painting sightscreens to rebuilding clubhouses, NatWest CricketForce brings together volunteers of all ages to ensure that they get the most out of their facilities.

“More than 40 Warwickshire clubs got involved in last year’s NatWest CricketForce with many being supported by local dignitaries, businesses and cricket enthusiasts who gave a helping hand. We look forward to many more getting involved in 2012 and ensuring that Warwickshire clubs are great shape for the new season.”
