SET Warwickshire beaten by Yorkshire
Warwickshire's Second Eleven lost to Yorkshire by sixty two runs at Knowle And Dorridge C.C. in their latest Second Eleven Trophy match
Yorkshire won the toss and batted at Knowle and Dorridge where Warwickshire were hoping to exploit some helpful conditions and record a much needed victory on the competition.
The visitors looked to be heading for a useful total when raching 75-2 but Keith Barker 3-26 and Tom Burton 3-35 pegged them back and with Ian Westwood 2-34 chipping in, Yorkshire were finally dismissed for 168 with Gary Ross 32 and Lee Hodgson 30 top scoring.
In reply Warwickshire's batting was never comfortable and despite Barker making thirty eight and a late flurry from Tom Allin twenty two, the innings closed on a disappointing 106 all out in just 24.2 overs leaving Yorkshire victors by sixty two runs. Lee 3-28, Hodgson 2-14,sanderson 2-22 and Randhawa 2-9 did the damage for Yorkshire.
