T20 by numbers – Bears’ record v Leicestershire Foxes

The Birmingham Bears NatWest T20 Blast match with Leicestershire Foxes at Edgbaston on Friday night will be sixth T20 meeting.

The first contest came in the semi-final of the inaugural Finals Day at Trent Bridge in 2003, which the Bears won by seven wickets, with Waqar Younis’ 3-21 helping restrict the Foxes to 162 and scores of 32 from Knight, 43* from Penney and 33* from Troughton securing victory in the final over.

To date, the Bears have bragging rights with three victories to the Foxes two, with one match previously abandoned.
