Somerset 2nd XI v Warwickshire 2nd XI T20

Match 1

A very strong Somerset side won the toss and put Warwickshire into bat in the first match at Taunton.

Jonathan Webb 19, Tom Lewis 18, Freddie Coleman 17 and Basit Zaman 49 from 33 balls with Sam Hain 22* helped Warwickshire reach a total of 138-5 from their 20 with Alfonso Thomas taking two wickets for Somerset.

In reply Marcus Trescothick 54 from 32 balls and Craig Kieswetter 78 from 54 balls helped the home side reach their target with five overs to spare for the loss of just one wicket.

Match 2

Warwickshire won the toss in the second match and put Somerset into bat with Peter Trego 60 from 46 balls, opening with Trescothick 67 from 31 balls.

Somerset closed their twenty overs on 188-2 with James Hildreth unbeaten on 39.

In reply, a magnificent innings from Jonathon Webb 113*, with Zaman 47, left Warwickshire requiring a six from the final ball to win the match. Webb hit it for four and tied the match with Warwickshire 188-5 at the close.
