Pinstripe confirms 3 year deal as sole supplier to Edgbaston and Warwickshire CCC
Birmingham-based Pinstripe Print Group has secured a new three-year sole supplier partnership with Edgbaston Stadium to provide the venue and Warwickshire County Cricket Club with print and design services.
As a result of the deal, Pinstripe will be recognised as the Club’s Official Print & Design Partner with responsibility for production of the annual report, membership cards and other promotional items.
This latest news follows the recent confirmation of Pinstripe’s successful attainment of the ISO 12647-2 colour management scheme certification in January this year, establishing a UK first by becoming the first B2 printer in the UK to achieve this accreditation.
Pinstripe also became the first print group in the West Midlands to become a certified Carbon Balanced printer with The World Land Trust (certificate no: 140JTPI213), in 2013; a major endorsement of its environmental capabilities, which has been a significant factor in securing this deal with Edgbaston.
Commenting on the announcement, Pinstripe Print Group Managing Director Nigel Lyon, said: “We are delighted and proud to have been appointed as an official partner and supplier to such a prestigious and world class sporting venue like Edgbaston. The venue is recognised for partnering with market leaders, which is a great endorsement of our credentials, not only in print, but in business and environmentally.
“We have established a great relationship with their team, and our investment in environmental standards and new equipment has clearly helped position Pinstripe as a leading player that prestigious partners such as Edgbaston want to be associated with.”
Other partners associated with Edgbaston include such leading names as Scrivens Opticians, Pinsent Masons, Octopus Investments, David Lloyd Leisure, sk:n, Marstons and Elonex.
Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Edgbaston, said, “We’ve been working with Pinstripe for the past year, and their team has excelled in all areas. We were keen to develop the relationship by making them an official partner of the Club.
“In addition to being based locally and very easy to work with, Pinstripe are committed to delivering sustainable printing, and are able to supply print, which has zero CO2 emissions. This is vital to our supporting our vision to be the most sustainable major cricket venue in the county.”
In addition to Edgbaston, Pinstripe is also a major sponsor of Birmingham-based Moseley Rugby Club.
This latest deal completes another major milestone for the forward-moving Pinstripe, following its successful completion of a significant £900,000 investment programme in 2012/13.
