Six up for Warwickshire and sk:n with new shirt sponsorship deal
Warwickshire County Cricket Club has confirmed Birmingham-based skincare specialists sk:n, as the primary sponsor of its white LV= County Championship playing shirt for the sixth consecutive season.
The sk:n logo is printed on the front of Warwickshire’s LV= County Championship shirt in the 2014 season, in a deal that also includes the firm staging its annual conference at Edgbaston Stadium, receiving hospitality at Major Match Days and player appearances at company events.
Ahead of Warwickshire’s recent pre-season tour of Barbados, sk:n managed a skincare consultation session with the playing and coaching squad to make recommendations of how they should protect themselves from sun during the season.
Richard Bowser, Acting Chief Executive of sk:n, said: “Working with Warwickshire has been fantastic for sk:n, helping us to become the trusted skincare consultants of the Professional Cricketers Association and gaining brand exposure across the regional and national media.
“The new facilities at Edgbaston and central location make it the perfect venue for our annual conference and we’re delighted to continue this partnership and follow the Bears again in 2014.”
sk:n offers cutting edge skincare treatments as well as an extensive range of branded cosmetics. Its headquarters are based just one mile away from Edgbaston, but it also operates 34 skincare clinics in the UK.
Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director of Warwickshire CCC, said: “sk:n has been an excellent supporter of the Club, and its skincare consultation sessions ahead of each county season have been important in ensuring that each individual member of the playing and coaching squad takes appropriate sun protection measures.
“We work hard to ensure that there is a perfect fit between both brands when setting up commercial partnerships, and the relationship between Warwickshire CCC and sk:n has ensured great benefits for both parties in the last six years.”
