Second ticket allocation for England v India NatWest IT20 now on-sale

The second allocation of tickets for England’s NatWest T20 International versus India at Edgbaston, on Sunday 7th September 2014, are now on-sale.

The first allocation of tickets sold out in December 2013, but a smaller second allocation of tickets has been released on public sale via www.edgbaston.com and through the Ticket Hotline on 0844 847 1902.

Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Edgbaston, said: “Last year’s ICC Champions Trophy highlighted the huge following that India have in Birmingham, and we’re thrilled to welcome the team and its supporters back to Edgbaston for the two fixtures here in September; a Royal London ODI takes place five days before the NatWest IT20.

“Given that the first allocation of tickets for this match sold out before Christmas, we recommend that supporters do look to purchase early as we only have limited availability left in this second allocation.”

England last met India at Edgbaston in June 2013, when the visitors claimed the ICC Champions Trophy by just five runs in a nail-biting final. However, England currently hold the bragging rights in International T20s, with a 4-3 lead since their first meeting came in 2007 in the inaugural ICC World T20 in South Africa.
