Jones part of Ashes-winning victory Down Under

Warwickshire’s Amy Jones took her place in history earlier today as part of the England Women’s team that retained the Ashes ‘Down Under’.

Amy played in the first international t20 of the series at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, which England won by nine wickets and secured the final point they need to retain the Ashes in a series that includes one Test, three ODIs and three IT20s.

Amy, 20, is Warwickshire’s first female cricketer to win full England honours and has been part of the Bears junior ranks since the Under 13s age group. She has now won two ODI and four IT20 caps.
