More Than a Third of Tickets Sold for England v India t20 International

Tickets for England’s NatWest t20 International against India are going fast after almost one third of all tickets were snapped up by keen cricket fans within just 18 days of tickets going on-sale.

England face India at Edgbaston in the NatWest t20 International on Sunday 7th September as well as an ODI on Tuesday 2nd September. Edgbaston also hosts an ODI between England and Sri Lanka on Tuesday 3rd June and the domestic t20 Finals Day, which is provisionally set for Saturday 23rd August.

Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Edgbaston, said: “Sell-out crowds throughout the ICC Champions Trophy proved that India have a huge following whenever they play at Edgbaston and the opportunity to see them twice in 2014 is a huge coup for Birmingham.

“We’ve seen an unprecedented response to tickets sales so far, and if supporters want to guarantee their seat we recommend that they purchase immediately as this match could sell out before Christmas.”

Edgbaston is rewarding all supporters who book Warwickshire Membership and Major Match tickets before 11.59pm on 31st January with an early bird discount. From 1st February, a price increase will take effect.

To buy Membership and Major Match tickets for the 2014 season, simply visit, call the 24-hour Ticket Hotline on 0844 847 1902 or visit the Shop at Edgbaston, which is open 10am-4pm Monday-Wednesday.
