Glamorgan 2nd XI v Warwickshire 2nd XI Championship
The Warwickshire batsmen took the total on to 243 from 82.5 overs with Webb 59 and Allin, not adding to his overnight score, 31.
For Glamorgan, Reed 5-66 and Salter 4-69 were the pick of the bowlers.
Needing 138 to win, Glamorgan were 72-2 at lunch, but lost both openers , Walters 41 and James 41 within the space of two overs , but despite Webb and Lintrott taking two wickets apiece, Glamorgan held on to complete a four wicket victory.
Peter McKay took eight catches in the match for Warwickshire who took five points to Glamorgan’s twenty three.
On the second day, Glamorgan batted on to reach 264 all out with Smith top scoring on eighty one and Tom Allin 4-33 the most successful Warwickshire bowler.
106 in arrears on first innings, Jon Webb 45* Paul Best 27 Jacob Lintrott 30 and Tom Allin 31* helped Warwickshire reach the close on 210-7 with a lead of one hundred and four.
Warwickshire won the toss and chose to bat first at Cardiff C.C. and put on sixty three for the opening wicket with Freddie Coleman making 49 but then collapsed to 158 all out from just forty eight overs, with Alex Jones 4-39 and Reed 3-59 doing the damage.
By the close of the opening day Glamorgan had reached 176-5 with Ben Wright making fifty three and Tom Milnes taking two wickets.
Glamorgan won the toss and chose to bat in the Trophy match at Cardiff C.C. and after Gordon dismissed Walters Nick James made fifty two and Lanesfield 77 was run out before the innings closed on 217-5 with Ben Wright making an unbeaten forty eight as Gordon 3-50 was the Bears most successful bowler.
Simon Jones then dismissed both Darren Maddy 0 and Tom Lewis 0 in his first over and despite a stand of forty four between Coleman 27 and Hain 18 Warwickshire were dismissed for 154 with Webb 26, Lintrott 26 and Piolet 26 all getting starts but unable to turn them into significant scores.
