Trophy Match July 30th

Winning the toss and batting, the Warwickshire batsmen found the opening attack of Sidebottom and Steve Patterson 2-14, too hot to handle on a wicket giving some early assistance to the seam bowlers and with helpful overcast conditions.

12-5 after ten overs, they never recovered and despite a spirited seventh wicket partnership of forty eight between Tom Milnes 29 and Tom Allin 36 they were dismissed in the twenty eighth over for just ninety five.

Ryan Sidebttom took 3-14 and Ben Coad 3-5

In reply, Yorkshire captain, Andrew Gale 40 was bowled by Recordo Gordon and Dave Hodgson run out for 38 but not before they had quickly put the match beyond reach of Warwickshire, with Yorkshire completing an eight wicket victory just after the interval in just 17.4 overs.
