2nd XI v Durham



 Day 1

Warwickshire won the toss and chose to bat at Maiden Castle and with Sam Hain making an unbeaten 123 from 277 balls with 17 4's and one six, reached 292-5 by the close of the opening day.

Jon Webb forty seven from 107 balls and Tom Milnes unbeaten on twenty nine from thirty three balls gave good support to Hain.




Warwickshire Second XI played Durham at Maiden Castle in Durham for their latest Trophy match, bowling first after Durham won the toss and batted.

The opening pair put on fifty seven for the first wicket and with Gordon Muchall making sixty nine they posted a competitive 244-6 from their forty overs.

For Warwickshire, Mark Adair and Darren Maddy each took two wickets.

In reply, Maddy and Coleman 24 put on thirty two for the first wicket but apart from Sam Hain 29, Tom Lewis 32 and Steff Piolet 31 the innings folded inside 36 overs slumping from 161-5 to 183 all out leaving Durham victors by sixty one runs
