Trott Heroics Steer England to ICC Champions Trophy Final on Home Ground


A superb 82 from Bears star Jonathan Trott helped England secure a place in the ICC Champions Trophy Final on his home ground of Edgbaston as Ashley Giles’ team recorded an emphatic seven wicket victory over South Africa in the semi-final at The Oval.

Trott’s 82 off 84 balls helped England to victory in the 38th over, and they will now face the winner of India v Sri Lanka, which takes place in Cardiff tomorrow.

The Final of the ICC Champions Trophy takes place at Edgbaston on Sunday, starting at 10.30am.
