LV= County Champions Warwickshire CCC have agreed a new deal with Scrivens Opticians to be the Club’s first Official Opticians Partner and sponsor the back of their white championship shirt as part of a two year package.

Scrivens – which is a family owned and run business with Head Office near Warwickshire’s Edgbaston Stadium – has more than 140 branches nationwide. The package also includes branding on the second tier of the Club’s new £32 million South Stand at Edgbaston, whilst members of playing squad will also make appearances at Scrivens’ events throughout the year.

Nicholas Georgevic, Chairman of Scrivens Opticians, said: “Warwickshire CCC are one of the most celebrated sporting teams in the Midlands, and with fantastic new facilities to utilise at the redeveloped Edgbaston, it ticked all boxes from our partnership perspective.

“As a national business based in the heart of Birmingham, we were keen to work with a local sports team with a national footprint so there is a great fit for us. We look forward to working with the team and hope that they enjoy an equally successful 2013 season.”

Edgbaston has now welcomed three new partners since the turn of 2013, with sports nutrition brand USN and cylinder mower firm Allett both securing deals with the Club. Additionally, sk:n renewed its partnership as the lead LV= County Championship partners for the fifth consecutive year.

Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Edgbaston, said: "The success and increased awareness of Warwickshire CCC as well as the redevelopment of Edgbaston have opened up new opportunities for the Club to work with a bigger pool of sponsors than what we have previously.

“This is the first year that we’ve welcomed an Official Opticians Partner and Scrivens is the ideal brand to work with. They’re based in Edgbaston, have a national reach and are equally ambitious to achieve more success in the future. We look forward to working with the team.”
