Edgbaston Vacancies


Three vacancies have arisen at Edgbaston within the Catering, Conference & Events and Ground Staff teams. Please read on for further details.


Conference and Banqueting Events Manager – Catering Operation

All applicants must be experienced and confident in managing and delivering a range of events with up to 600 people attending at any given time. Applicants must be able to thrive in a high pressured, busy environment and at all times adhere to the highest standards of service and have a good awareness of health and safety protocols.

The job role requires the applicant to build excellent customer relationships and be customer focused at all times whilst managing a sizable team of people to meet the client and customer’s expectations.

All applicants must have exceptional communication skills and be highly self-motivated as well as be able to remain focused even when working long hours.

Weddings and Events Sales Co-ordinator

Weddings and Events Sales Co-ordinator. A new, full time, permanent position is available within the Conference and Events Team at Edgbaston Stadium.

The successful candidate will be based at the fantastic Edgbaston County Ground and work amongst a bright and enthusiastic team.

Previous experience of at least 12 months in the Wedding and Events industry is desirable,

  • Reporting to: Head Groundsman
  • Hours: 38 per week with flexible approach as weekend work will be essential throughout the summer.
  • Salary: From £14,000 per annum (dependent upon experience).

A groundsperson is required to join the established grounds team at the Edgbaston Cricket stadium in Birmingham – home to Warwickshire County Cricket Club as well as Test and International cricket.

Ideally the candidate will have NVQ Level 2 in sports turf maintenance or equivalent, plus experience of working on a cricket or multisport site. The candidate must enjoy working to high standards, have good communication skills plus the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
